Spannender Blick hinter die Kulissen!
Dass Hansi Flick (60) hart durchgreifen kann, ist längst bekannt. Der Trainer des FC Barcelona setzt auf Disziplin und Sanktionen. Bei Dauer-Rivale Real Madrid geht es wohl etwas lockerer zu. Toni Kroos (35) zieht in seinem Podcast „Einfach mal Luppen“, den er mit Bruder Felix (34) betreibt, einen spannenden Mentalitäts-Vergleich.

Der langjährige Kicker, der 2024 seine Karriere beendete, kennt Ex-Bundestrainer Flick noch aus seiner Zeit bei der Nationalmannschaft. Bei Real wären solche Strafen dagegen wohl undenkbar, wie der ehemalige Mittelfeld-Star der Königlichen offenbart.

Kroos: „Das sind unterschiedliche Philosophien. Hier, bei Real, hätte man darüber gelacht. Da wusste man oft gar nicht, wer zu spät kommt – der Spieler oder der Trainer. Es ist einfach eine ganz andere Mentalität, jemanden wegen so etwas nicht spielen zu lassen, nur weil er fünf Minuten zu spät zur Mannschaftsbesprechung kommt.“
Ein richtig oder falsch gäbe es dabei allerdings nicht, wie er betont. Kroos: „Das ist beides okay, sind halt unterschiedliche Philosophien. Man kann auch sagen, es ist typisch deutsch.“
Auch sein Bruder Felix merkt an: „Dass man deswegen nicht mehr spielt, ist typisch deutsch. Ich glaube, wenige Trainer aus anderen Ländern würden so hart reagieren.“

„Aber dann kommt es auch nicht mehr oft vor, dass jemand zu spät ist“, ergänzt Kroos abschließend.
Die Stars des FC Barcelona mussten sich allerdings an Flicks strikte Linie gewöhnen. Mit Wirkung! Die Katalanen gewannen in Flicks Debüt-Saison gleich die spanische Meisterschaft, vor Real. Dazu holten sie auch die Copa del Rey. Im spanischen Pokalfinale setzten sie sich ebenfalls gegen die Königlichen durch.
