Após bom início do Brasil na Liga da Nações Feminina de Vôlei, o treinador busca manter a boa fase, ainda sem uma de suas principais jogadores
A seleção feminina de vôlei volta a quadra amanhã (18), às 10h (de Brasília), diante da Bélgica, pela segunda semana da Liga das Nações (VNL), onde o Brasil fará quatro jogos na Turquia. Na primeira semana, a nossa seleção jogou em casa, no Rio de Janeiro, conseguindo três vitórias em quatro jogos, somando oito pontos e ficando na quinta colocação.
Para este duelo contra as belgas, o técnico José Roberto Guimarães anunciou as 14 jogadoras relacionadas, deixando de fora a oposta Kisy e as ponteiras Aline Segato e Gabi Guimarães. Esta última, é a ausência mais sentida. Gabi é medalhista de bronze nas Olimpíadas de Paris e é a capitã da equipe. Por conta de um desgaste físico, ela foi preservada dos primeiros jogos e poderia voltar agora, mas este retorno pode acontecer apenas na terceira semana.

Brasil busca título inédito no vôlei feminino
A seleção feminina de vôlei nunca venceu a Liga das Nações (VNL). Criada em 2018 para substituir a Liga Mundial, o Brasil chegou em três finais, mas perdeu todas. Em 2019, perdeu para os Estados Unidos na decisão, por 3 a 2. Depois, em 2021, perdeu novamente para as americanas, desta vez por 3 a 1. Por fim, em 2022, foi derrotado pela Itália por 3 sets a 0.
Além dos três vices, a seleção brasileira teve um quarto lugar na edição passada como melhor colocação, caindo na semifinal para o Japão e perdendo a disputa de terceiro lugar para a Polônia. Os maiores vencedores da VNL feminina é os Estados Unidos, com três conquistas, seguido pela Itália, que venceu duas vezes.
