The Florida Panthers have done it again. The team defeated the Edmonton Oilers in the Stanley Cup Finals for the second consecutive season, achieving their long-awaited back-to-back championship and cementing their place in NHL history.
With this achievement, the Panthers become the 11th team to win consecutive Stanley Cup titles, and the fourth in the last 20 years. It also marks the fourth time in six seasons that a team from the state of Florida has claimed the NHL’s most coveted trophy, joining the Tampa Bay Lightning who won in 2020 and 2021.

Now, the city is getting ready to celebrate in a big way. The championship parade is on the way, and the Panthers hope this edition will surpass last year’s electric atmosphere, when thousands of fans came out to cheer on their heroes.
When Is the Panthers’ Championship Parade?

The team has not yet officially announced the parade date, but based on last year-when the parade was held six days after their Game 7 win.
The Panthers’ championship parade is tentatively planned for Sunday, Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis told the South Florida Sun Sentinel. The parade will “most likely” be down A1A in Fort Lauderdale Beach, Trantalis said.
Parade Route
The parade route has not been confirmed. In 2024, the celebration took place in Fort Lauderdale, beginning on Riomar Street and continuing down A1A to 5th Street. This year’s route is expected to be similar, though exact details are still pending.

The weather forecast for the day of the parade will be shared once the official date is announced. As always in Florida, fans should prepare for high temperatures and possible rain.
