Donnerstag beginnt für die Frauen-Nationalmannschaft die Basketball-EM in Hamburg. In der viertägigen Vorrunde geht es gegen Spanien, Großbritannien und zum Auftakt gegen Schweden.

Das deutsche Minimalziel: Vorrunde überstehen, um danach in der Finalrunde in Piräus dabei zu sein.

Jennifer Crowder (29): Sie ist eine wirklich smarte und schnelle Spielerin, hat dazu einen guten Drive zum Korb.

Leonie Fiebich (25): Eine absolute Maschine. Sie kann alles, offensiv wie defensiv. Eine ganz wichtige Stütze im Team.

Luisa Geiselsöder (25): Hat gerade in Frankreich eine sehr gute Saison gespielt, dort Meisterin geworden. Hat sich enorm verbessert, guten Touch unterm Korb, den Wurf extrem verbessert.

Frieda Bühner (21): Obwohl sie noch sehr jung ist, schon extrem abgezockt. Hat erst vor einem Jahr debütiert. Ich bin ein absoluter Fan von ihr. Sie kann offensiv alles, hat einen hohen Basketball-IQ.

Emily Bissoir (23): Beeindruckend, wie gut sie nach ihrer Verletzung zurückgekommen ist. Hat einen ganz starken Wurf.
