Com 10 partidas como titular e seis gols na temporada, o centroavante é um dos principais candidatos a deixar o clube nesta janela de transferências
Mesmo sendo um dos nomes mais especulados para deixar o clube nesta janela, o Grêmio recusou uma proposta de empréstimo do São Paulo pelo atacante uruguaio Matías Arezo. A informação foi publicada nesta quarta-feira (18) pelo jornalista Kaliel Dorneles.
De acordo com o jornalista, a oferta do Tricolor Paulista foi por um empréstimo até o final da temporada de 2025. A intenção da equipe do Sudeste seria pagar 100% do salário do jogador de 22 anos, que chegou ao Grêmio em julho do ano passado, vindo do Granada, da Espanha.
Uruguaio demonstrou interesse em deixar o Grêmio
Em entrevista concedida nesta quarta-feira (18) ao El Espectador Deportes, do Uruguai, Arezo não fechou as portas para um possível retorno ao Peñarol, clube pelo qual atuou em 2023.
“Não sei nada do meu futuro. Aproveitei esses dias para descansar. (…) Ir ao Peñarol não depende de mim. É uma negociação que tem que se dar entre os clubes. Eu falo seguido com Ruglio (presidente do Peñarol) e ele já sabe o que tem que fazer para me levar. Sempre fui muito direto com ele. (…) A mim não tem que dar um empurrão para chegar ao Peñarol. Todos sabem do carinho que tenho pelo clube”, disse o jogador.
Em 2025, Arezo soma 23 partidas com a camisa gremista. Na maioria delas, o centroavante entrou durante o jogo, sendo titular em apenas 10 oportunidades. Ao todo, marcou seis gols e deu uma assistência na temporada.
Torcedores criticam modelo da negociação
A torcida gremista repercutiu a informação sobre o interesse do São Paulo em Arezo. Um dos torcedores afirmou que o Grêmio precisa fechar a negociação com a equipe paulista. “Pra nos passar jogadores é sempre jogo duro, pra pedir empréstimo é uma barbada”, comentou o torcedor.
Outros torcedores criticaram a recusa da diretoria e ironizaram, dizendo que o Tricolor Gaúcho buscará um empréstimo em que pague todo o salário do jogador em outro clube.
