Comentarista aponta que jogador comprado pelo Verdão no início do ano por mais de R$ 150 milhões deve perder vaga para Flaco López
Rivellino não gostou do desempenho do centroavante Vitor Roque na estria do Palmeiras na Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa, no empate contra o Porto-POR, por 0 a 0. Segundo o ex-jogador, o camisa 9 alviverde não tem conseguido mostrar seu melhor futebol desde que foi contratado do Barcelona e deve perder a vaga no time titular para Flaco López, no duelo com o Al Ahly, nesta quinta-feira (19).
Em participação o programa “Cartão Verde”, da TV Cultura, nesta quarta-feira (18), o comentarista esportivo avaliou a atual fase do jovem atleta de 20 anos, que custou mais de R$ 150 milhões aos cofres do Verdão. “Infelizmente, o Vitor Roque não consegue jogar. Acho que a possibilidade da entrada do Flaco é muito forte. Quando teve essa mexida (contra o Porto), o Palmeiras melhorou muito”, disse.
O Palmeiras encara o Al Ahly nesta quinta-feira (19), em jogo da segunda rodada do Grupo A da Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa, que será disputado no MetLife Stadium – mesmo local da partida de estreia alviverde -, em Nova Jersey. A bola rola a partir das 13h (horário de Brasília). Atualmente, todos os times do grupo estão empatados com um ponto.
Rivellino avalia entrada de Veiga como titular no Palmeiras
Uma outra mudança sugerida pelo comentarista esportivo, esta no entanto com poucas chances de acontecer, é a entrada do meia Raphael Veiga como titular do Palmeiras contra o Al Ahly. “Acho que se está no banco e tem condições, eu ponho o que eu tenho de melhor”, disse Riva, indicando que o camisa 23 poderia entrar no meio com Estêvão sendo colocado para atuar pelo lado de campo.
“O Estêvão mostrou seu melhor futebol onde? Pelo lado. O Veiga vem no Palmeiras nos últimos quatro anos sendo um dos principais jogadores. É simples. Coloca o Estêvão do lado, onde ele rende maravilhosamente bem, e põe o Veiga, que é fantástico, no meio de campo. Eu vejo desse jeito”, completou Rivellino.
Abel revela que Paulinho pode jogar só 30 minutos
Outro jogador que vem sendo muito pedido pelos torcedores do Verdão no time titular é o atacante Paulinho. Depois de passar por cirurgia na canela no fim da última temporada, o camisa 10 ainda tem dosagem de carga nos treinamentos e só pôde jogar alguns minutos em cada partida do Palmeiras ao longo do primeiro semestre.
“Em relação ao Paulinho, não posso usar mais de 30 minutos e ponto. Não vou falar mais disto, quando tem entrado, ajuda muito e quando puder usar em 30 minutos, vamos usar. E cabe a mim (escolher) quando usar”, disse Abel Ferreira, ao ser questionado sobre a chance do atleta passar a ser utilizado no time titular alviverde.
“Sem dúvida é um jogador que nos podia ajudar mais tempo, mas infelizmente em função de não estar a 100%, não é novidade para ninguém, já sabem, não tem problema. Vamos usar o tempo que tiver que utilizar, de acordo com as necessidades da equipe”, completou Abel Ferreira.
