Dokázaly rychle skládat míč, ale když bylo potřeba, hrály i dlouhé výměny a nutily Bulharsko k chybám. Přitom byly obětavé i houževnaté v obraně,“ těšilo kouče Jannise Athanasopulose.
Jsem fakt na nás všechny pyšná, jak jsme to zvládly. Od začátku jsme zatlačily servisem a na Bulharkách byla znát únava z těžkého čtvrtečního duelu s Čínou, kterou senzačně obraly o bod. Cítím ale z celého týmu, že se zápas od zápasu zlepšujeme, zdokonalujeme a blížíme se k tomu nejlepšímu volejbalu, který jsme schopné předvádět,“ vykládala Helena Grozer, která byla nejproduktivnější hráčkou zápasu.

Vedle ní zářila i kapitánka Michaela Mlejnková a oběma smečařkám zdatně sekundovala univerzálka Monika Brancuská. „Za mě to byl od všech perfektní výkon s vysokou agresivitou na servisu a povedlo se nám bulharské blokařky držet téměř po celý zápas mimo hru. Gratuluji všem reprezentantkám, ale můžeme být šťastní jen chvíli. Už v sobotu přijde další důležitý zápas s Thajskem, které budeme chtít udržet v tabulce pod námi,“ přemítal kouč.
„Páteční rychlá výhra nám může pomoct, protože čas na regeneraci bude delší. Ani jsme nevyplýtvaly tolik sil, takže i to bude pozitivní. Zápas proti Thajsku je pro nás znovu velmi důležitý. Budeme si zase muset zvyknout na asijský způsob hry a doufám, že se nám to podaří a soupeřky přehrajeme,“ uvedla Daniela Digrinová nastupující na postu libera.

The University of Wisconsin and its name, image and likeness collective sued the University of Miami on Friday, alleging it interfered with what it said were binding NIL revenue-sharing contracts with former cornerback Xavier Lucas.The lawsuit, filed Friday in Dane County (Wis.)
