Platz Partie Stadion Zuschauer
1. Ulsan HD FC – Mamelodi Sundowns (0:1) Inter&Co Stadium (Orlando) 3412
2. CF Pachuca – RB Salzburg (1:2) TQL Stadium (Cincinnati) 5282
3. River Plate – Urawa Red Diamonds (3:1) Lumen Field (Seattle) 11.974
4. Al-Ain – Juventus (0:5) Audi Field (Washington) 18.161
5. FC Bayern – Auckland City (10:0) TQL Stadium (Cincinnati) 21.152

Dodgers’ Roki Sasaki Resumes Throwing Program in Recovery From Shoulder Injury

<!--> Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Roki Sasaki has restarted his throwing program as he continues his recovery from a right shoulder injury. Manager Dave Roberts said the 23-year-old phenom threw from 60 to 90 feet Friday in his return to workouts after a brief pause. "That was a bonus," he said. "That was a plus. Chatted with him briefly afterward. He was excited about it."The Dodgers had halted Sasaki’s throwing program for the previous several days because he didn’t feel comfortable throwing at full intensity. Pirates’ Oneil Cruz makes error in center field, then watches ball roll away as run scores

The Pittsburgh Pirates came into Friday's game versus the Texas Rangers with the second-worst record in the National League at 30-46. In the first inning, center fielder Oneil Cruz looked as if the losing had worn him down. Or he was frustrated at making another error at his position. On a Sam Haggerty single to center, Cruz ran over to field the ball but it went under his glove. Errors happen but rather than chase after the ball, Cruz stood and watched the ball roll away, presumably mad at himself for his mistake.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAdam Frazier backed up the play, yet if Cruz had immediately run after the ball, he probably would have gotten to the ball first. It was a bad look for the young star, who appeared to be giving up on the play.As a result of Cruz's lackadaisical approach, Josh […]
