Rubro-Negro encara o time de Londres nesta sexta-feira (20), em jogo decisivo para a classificação do Grupo D da Copa do Mundo de Clubes
O Flamengo encara teoricamente seu adversário mais difícil na fase de grupos da Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa hoje (20), logo mais às 15h (horário de Brasília), quando enfrentará o Chelsea, no Lincoln Financial Field, na Filadélfia, pela segunda rodada do Grupo D. Para o jornalista Fábio Sormani, o time carioca não só é superior como é o grande favorito a vencer a partida.
Em participação no programa “Opinião Placar”, da Placar TV, no YouTube, nesta sexta, o comentarista esportivo não ficou em cima do muro e cravou que apostaria todas suas fichas em vitória do Rubro-Negro contra o endinheirado time inglês no confronto direto que praticamente garante a classificação às oitavas de final ao vencedor.
“Claro que dá para ganhar. Se o Botafogo ganhou do PSG, que é o melhor time da Europa, teoricamente, porque foi campeão, por que o Flamengo, que tem elenco mais robusto que o Botafogo não pode ganhar do Chelsea, que é um time que oscila muito na Champions e na Premier League? Claro que dá!”, cravou Sormani, durante o programa.
O comentarista indicou ainda que a equipe carioca tem maior favoritismo contra Chelsea. “Se eu tivesse que apostar hoje, apostaria no Flamengo. No futebol tudo pode acontecer. O Chelsea pode ganhar do Flamengo? Pode. Agora, o Flamengo é o favorito. Se der a lógica no jogo de logo mais, o Rubro-Negro vai sair vencedor”, avaliou Sormani.
O time rubro-negro confirmou a escalação titular para o jogo de logo mais e o técnico Filipe Luís surpreendeu ao dar descanso para alguns jogadores considerados titulares hoje na equipe. O centroavante Pedro, o lateral-direito Varela e o zagueiro Léo Ortiz, começam no banco de reservas no duelo do Lincoln Financial Field.
Para as vagas abertas na equipe titular, o treinador escalou, respectivamente, Wesley, Danilo e Gonzalo Plata, este último recuperado de um problema no joelho que o tirou de ação nas últimas partidas e que acarretou até a desconvocação parta a seleção equatoriana na mais recente Data Fifa para jogos das Eliminatórias da Copa de 2026.
Assim, o time do Flamengo que vai a campo contra o Chelsea tem: Rossi; Wesley, Danilo, Léo Pereira e Ayrton Lucas; Erick Pulkgar, Jorginho, Gerson e Arrascaeta; Luiz Araújo e Gonzalo Plata. Vale destacar que o meio-campista uruguaio De La Cruz continua vetado por problemas físicos e será desfalque.
