Nesta quarta (25), vai enfrentar o Mamelodi Sundowns. O duelo está marcado para ocorrer a partir das 16h (horário de Brasília), no estádio Hard Rock.
“Um jogo difícil, muito perigoso. Vamos nos preparar da mesma maneira que nos preparamos desde que chegamos. Temos que ter a mesma atenção que tivemos contra o Borussia. Sem a bola, vamos tomar os cuidados defensivos”, iniciou Renato Gaúcho, técnico do time carioca que também prometeu um futebol ofensivo.
“Com a bola, vamos jogar e buscar o gol. Jamais vou preparar minha equipe para jogar pelo empate. A gente respeita o adversário, mas sabe do nosso potencial. Vamos procurar neutralizar as principais jogadas deles, mas vamos jogar buscando o gol”, acrescentou.

O Tricolor das Laranjeiras venceu o rival sul-coreano, mas teve que buscar o resultado. Depois de abrir o placar com Jhon Arias, tomou a virada em menos de 15 minutos e foi perdendo para o intervalo. O cenário mudou no segundo tempo.
“Você tem que estar concentrado, focado durante os 90 minutos porque, no momento que você desfoca, as coisas acontecem. Foi o que aconteceu no final do primeiro tempo. Não ficamos focados como deveríamos e tomamos a virada”, analisou Renato Gaúcho.
“No intervalo, nós conversamos e voltamos com outra atitude no segundo tempo e conseguimos a vitória, que nos dá uma tranquilidade a mais. O importante era fazer nosso dever: conseguir a vitória”, finalizou o técnico do Fluminense.
