Diretor rubro-negro indica que o momento financeiro do clube permite a contratação de mais uma estrela
Dono de um elenco respeitado na América do Sul, o Flamengo vê brechas para incluir outro nome de hierarquia em seu plantel. Em entrevista ao jornal italiano Gazzetta dello Sport, José Boto foi perguntado se haveria mais um jogador da Juventus que caberia no clube carioca. Vale lembrar que Danilo e Alex Sandro defenderam recentemente a equipe italiana.
Sem hesitar, o dirigente mencionou Dusan Vlahović, 25 anos, centroavante sérvio que custou o equivalente a R$ 540 milhões aos cofres da Vecchia Signora. A questão financeira não seria um problema para o Rubro-Negro, mas sim convencer o atleta a atuar no Brasil.
“Para o que precisamos agora, eu pensaria em Vlahovic. Nosso problema não seria dinheiro, mas convencer esses grandes nomes a virem para o Brasil. No futebol, nunca diga nunca”, declarou Boto.
Vlahovic, inclusive, está à disposição da Juventus nesta Copa do Mundo de Clubes e esteve em campo na goleada por 5 a 0 sobre o Al Ain. No confronto de hoje contra o Wydad Casablanca, o sérvio será novamente opção no banco de reservas.
Flamengo tem saída encaminhada
Ao mesmo tempo que vasculha o mercado por reforços, o Flamengo lida também com saídas após a disputa do Mundial. Gerson, por exemplo, disse sim para uma proposta do Zenit-RUS e deve se despedir do clube após a participação no torneio internacional.

Na mesma entrevista, o dirigente assegurou não ter nenhuma oferta pela transferência de Wesley. Nesta semana, especulou-se que a Roma teria entrado na disputa com a Juventus pela contratação do lateral-direito.
“Oficialmente, não há nada com a Itália. Talvez extraoficialmente. Mas 20 milhões de euros não são suficientes. Pelo que ouvi dizer, para comprá-lo, pelo menos 30 [milhões de euros]. Veremos depois do Mundial de Clubes”, declarou.
