Josh Allen’s wedding sparks Super Bowl buzz for the Bills: Married and motivated

The wedding bells have barely stopped ringing, but Josh Allen is already shifting his focus to the upcoming NFL season. Energized by a roster with few weaknesses, an elite coaching staff, and top-tier talent on both sides of the ball, this could be the moment Allen and the Bills claim their long-awaited Super Bowl title.

On May 31, Allen tied the knot with fiancée and actress Hailee Steinfeld in a star-studded ceremony at a private location in California-checking off one of the quarterback’s biggest personal milestones. Now, he’s setting his sights on another elusive ring that has escaped him for eight years.

According to ESPN analyst Dan Graziano, this could be the year the Bills finally get past Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy. “They’ve been too good for too long to think they’re never going to get over that hump,” Graziano said.

Allen and the Bills face their moment of truth

In a recent episode of NFL on ESPN, Graziano added, “I think this is a well-run organization, they’re not doing that thing, they’re like, ‘Oh, we’re going to stretch and make some move to get us over the hump.'”

Instead, he credited the Bills’ front office with staying the course. “They’re re-signing their core guys, building it the right way-and I think one of these years, it pays off.”

Despite being eliminated by the Chiefs four times in recent postseasons-including the 2024 AFC Championship Game-many analysts believe the Bills are trending up, while Kansas City appears to be in decline.

A changing of the guard?

Athlon Sports reporter Adam Schultz noted that media and fans are beginning to lose confidence in the Chiefs. “Many see them as a weakened version of last year,” he said-no small statement considering the injury woes and inconsistency that plagued the team 2024.

Still, Schultz advised against counting them out completely. The Chiefs have won three of the last five Super Bowls, after all. But as he put it, “If there was ever a time for the Bills to capitalize on all their talent, 2025 feels like that time.”

Tyrese Haliburton’s apparent Achilles tear brings one of NBA’s all-time stories to a heartbreaking end

The Oklahoma City Thunder won the 2025 NBA championship on Sunday, capping one of the most dominant seasons in NBA history with 84 total wins. It's a remarkable achievement, and yet it's always going to have an asterisk next to it after Tyrese Haliburton went down in the first quarter with what his father told ESPN was an Achilles injury. There's been no official word yet so we will wait to put a stamp on it, but everyone knows. Haliburton knew the minute he hit the floor and started pounding the court in tears. It's a torn Achilles. "All of our hearts dropped," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said of the moment Haliburton went down.  Indiana hung around admirably without its pilot, but the OKC defense was just too much and once the 3s started going in, the Pacers just couldn't create enough […]
