Wesley pode estar de saída do Flamengo na próxima janela de transferências. Conforme informações da imprensa britânica, o camisa 43 teria uma oferta milionária do Brighton, da Premier League, para deixar a Gávea. Especializado no mercado da bola, o jornalista Jorge Nicola trouxe mais detalhes sobre a especulação envolvendo o lateral-direito.
De acordo com o jornal inglês “The Telegraph”, o Flamengo recebeu uma proposta oficial do Brighton no valor de 23,4 milhões de euros. “Estamos falando de R$ 148 milhões”, reforçou Nicola em seu canal, acrescentando que os valores ainda não alcançam as cifras desejadas pelo clube da Gávea por Wesley, que também desperta interessa da Juventus.
“A julgar pelo fato de que o Flamengo busca pelo menos 30 milhões de euros [R$ 190,8 milhões, na cotação atual], dá para entender que essa proposta será recusada e deve ser a primeira de muitas que o Flamengo receberá nos próximos dias pelo lateral-direito”, projetou o comentarista.
Wesley esteve presente nas últimas convocações da seleção brasileira, tanto com Dorival Júnior como com Carlo Ancelotti. Diante da grande fase do jogador do Flamengo, o diretor executivo José Boto chegou a declarar para a imprensa da Itália que o lateral-direito está pronto para se transferir para a Europa.
Nicola descarta Wesley no Chelsea
Jorge Nicola esclareceu a possibilidade de Wesley se transferir para o próprio Chelsea, que foi batido pelo Flamengo por 3 a 1 na semana passada pelo Mundial de Clubes da Fifa. No entanto, o jornalista negou que exista um interesse dos Blues pelo lateral flamenguista, ainda que o clube londrino tenha uma avaliação positiva.
“O Chelsea não pensa em contratá-lo porque já tem pelo menos dois jogadores de enorme futuro pra posição”, disse Nicola, em referência ao francês Malo Gusto e o britânico Reece James. Embora Wesley tenha falhado junto com Pulgar no gol de Pedro Neto, o lateral teve uma atuação elogiada diante dos ingleses.
