Florida State is growing accustomed to good news on the recruiting trail of late, as the Seminoles received two more commitments Monday following the securement of four-star signal-caller Jaden O’Neal on Sunday.
Wide receiver Devin Carter flipped from Auburn to Florida State (after initially flipping from Florida State to Auburn in January), while tight end Xavier Tiller, previously a Texas A&M pledge, committed to FSU as well.
Carter, the son of former Seminoles star Dexter Carter, is a 6-foot-1 playmaker who also boasted offers from Georgia and North Carolina, among others.
A four-star prospect, Carter ranks as the No. 120 overall recruit in the country, per the 247Sports composite. The Douglas County (Ga.) product originally committed to Florida State in 2023.
His father played running back for the Seminoles from 1986-89 and was a first-round NFL draft pick of the San Francisco 49ers. He later returned to his alma mater to coach the program’s running backs under Bobby Bowden from 2007-09.
Tiller, considered the No. 204 overall recruit by the 247Sports composite, is likewise a four-star from Georgia (Langston Hughes High School). Standing 6-foot-5, he also holds offers from Auburn, Alabama, Louisville and Georgia.
O’Neal, previously a pledge to Oklahoma, hails from Mustang, Okla. and is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the 2026 class. At 6-foot-4, he is also a four-star, ranking No. 205 among all prospects.

Fantasy Baseball Bullpen Report: Stars align for Orion Kerkering while Dylan Lee gains foothold for Braves
One reason you may have clicked here is that Kenley Jansen was removed from his save chance Monday after throwing just four pitches, all of which were missing about 3 mph of velocity.Jansen said after the game that he was dealing with cramping in his neck and pectoral area and would be available to pitch as early as Tuesday, so it sounds like no major crisis. But since he's 37 years old and not exactly a stranger to injuries, this scare makes for a good time to speculate about his replacement. The answer is more obvious than you think:Yes, Reid Detmers, once a perennial Fantasy tease as a starting pitcher, is teasing us as a reliever as well. His numbers over the past six weeks are truly something to behold (see above) and have made him the Angels' go-to option […]

The best (and worst) NBA Draft picks at every top-10 slot over the last decade
The NBA draft is a day away! The 2025 edition is of particular interest with a major star at the top like Cooper Flagg. History, though, actually shows that there are stars available virtually every year, even if they aren't always revealed yet on draft night. But for every Nikola Jokic picked at 41, Jalen Brunson at 33, Giannis Antetokounmpo at 15 or Tyrese Haliburton at 12, there are numerous others who fail to live up to expectations on draft night -- even at the very top. The teams that pick right fast-track their way back to a bright future, whereas the teams that make the wrong choices are relegated to more of what got them to the lottery in the first place. With all of that in mind, we took a look back at the last 10 years and […]

With a dramatic 6-5 win, Paco Gallardo’s side set up a meeting with the Netherlands on Thursday, where they will look to defend their title and win the tournament for a record-extending 10th time. From rattled crossbars to goal-line saves, an olimpico to a lesser-spotted poker, this is how the madness quickly began to unfold.
