Ve čtvrtek se Češky v Ulánbátaru ve skupině B ještě utkají s Japonskem a favorizovaným Nizozemskem. Vítězové skupin postoupí do čtvrtfinále, druhé a třetí celky do osmifinále. Na minulém šampionátu české hráčky vypadly v osmifinále, v roce 2016 se jim senzačně podařilo získat titul. Od té doby na další medaile nedosáhly.
Galíčková před šampionátem řekla, že by byla spokojená s postupem mezi elitní osmičku. „Kdyby to nakonec cinklo, tak by to bylo něco neskutečného. Ve 3×3 je opravdu možné všechno. Favorit může kdykoliv prohrát, rozhodují maličkosti,“ uvedla pětadvacetileté křídelnice pro web České basketbalové federace.
