No fim do primeiro tempo da partida pelas quartas de final da Copa do Mundo de Clubes, o jogador da equipe alemã deixou jogadores completamente assustados com a imagem. Donnarumma, que participou diretamente do lance, estava inconsolável.
Aos prantos, o atleta dos Bávaros acabou sendo consolado pelos jogadores de ambas as equipes. Aos 47 minutos da etapa inicial, Musiala dividiu a bola com o arqueiro do Paris, mas o choque ocasionou uma imagem terrível. A suspeita é de fratura no tornozelo.
