Were Cam Norrie not a tennis player, he might well be exploring the depths of the ocean. For now he can afford to stick to life on the court, where the Brit just sealed his spot in the Wimbledon quarter-finals after toppling the big-serving Nicolas Jarry in a dogged five-set four-hour epic on Sunday. Norrie looked on course to cruise through to the second week at the All England Club as he claimed the opening two sets, only for an inspired Jarry to unearth his baseline ferocity on the way to winning the next two to send the match to a decider. So often advertisements of the Norrie threat are built around not only the finesse of his left arm, but so too an unrelenting will power and work ethic. Hussain: England in need of ‘special’ Archer but it’s a gamble

Nasser Hussain fears England's Test series with India may have "shifted in India's favour" with the hosts' heavy defeat in the second Test at Edgbaston and hopes the return of "special" Jofra Archer could provide a spark. It is expected Archer will appear in his first Test match in four years in the third Test at Lord's on Thursday - live on Sky Sports Cricket from 10am - while Gus Atkinson has also been called up to the squad ahead of an anticipated return. Hussain believes it could be a "gamble" for both to play, but given the struggles of England's seamers across the first two Tests, in which India have scored 1,849 runs, it might be one they're willing to take. Mauricio Pochettino Rips ‘Embarrassing’ Missed Penalty Call In Gold Cup Final Loss

Doug McIntyre Soccer Journalist <!--> HOUSTON — U.S. men’s national team coach Mauricio Pochettino slammed the officiating in the Americans’ 2-1 loss to Mexico in Sunday’s Gold Cup final, saying his side should have been awarded a penalty kick in the second half.Pochettino felt that Mexico defender Jorge Sánchez handled the ball inside his penalty area in the 67th minute, and replays clearly showed Sánchez put his hand on top of the ball."I want to tell the truth," Pochettino said during his post-match press conference.
