In sieben Jahren beim SCM feierte er im grün-roten Trikot alles, was es zu gewinnen gibt: Champions League, DHB-Pokal, EHF European League, Super Globe und zweimal die deutsche Meisterschaft. Und wurde dabei zum absoluten Publikumsliebling.
