Los fiscales que llevan el caso han asegurado que “es una suerte que nadie resultara gravemente herido o muerto en el accidente”. El jugador, después de una audiencia ante el Tribunal de la Corona de Chester el 14 de marzo, se declaró culpable de conducción peligrosa. Esto le podría acarrear una pena máxima de dos años de prisión. La sentencia saldrá a la luz el 9 de mayo.
