Red Bull no pasa precisamente por su mejor momento. Y eso que cuentan con un genio como es Max Verstappen, sino estarían mucho peor. La increíble destreza del tetracampeón a los mandos del inconsistente RB21 les tiene situados en una posición irreal (son terceros en Constructores detrás de McLaren y Mercedes). Ese coche no da para tanto… y eso es algo que sabe cualquiera que siga la F1. Es evidente que las salidas de Adrian Newey y Jonathan Wheatley han provocado un impacto (negativo) en el estado de forma de la escuadra austriaca y no parece que Pierre Wache esté dando con la tecla adecuada.
De momento, el neerlandés está luchando por la corona, ya que marcha en segunda posición a sólo ocho puntos del líder Lando Norris. Pero si no se produce un giro radical en la sucesión de acontecimientos, lo va a tener muy complicado para aguantar ese pulso con la estrella de McLaren.
No obstante, en la escudería energética no asumen lo que hay y aprovechando un corto receso en la F1 han decidido degradar a Liam Lawson para poner en su lugar a Yuki Tsunoda. Esta sumarísima ejecución no le ha gustado ni al mismo Verstappen.

Lo que enerva a Ralf Schumacher
Uno de los que han alzado la voz para criticar los movimientos de Red Bull ha sido Ralf Schumacher, quien no se ha andado por las ramas a la hora de ponderar lo que está sucediendo en el seno de la escudería con base en Milton Keynes. Y sus dardos van dirigidos principalmente hacia la figura del inflexible Helmut Marko, asesor ejecutivo de Red Bull desde el ya lejano 2005.
“Por mucho que le tenga aprecio, el Dr. Helmut Marko a veces desempeña un papel algo desafortunado. Por un lado es de los que apuestan por los jóvenes talentos, pero, por otra parte, exige demasiado. No les concede a los pilotos suficiente tiempo para rendir. Dos carreras junto a Max Verstappen no son suficientes, el coche es bastante difícil de conducir y no le estás haciendo ningún favor a los jóvenes”, ha argumentado Schumacher en relación al descenso de Lawson, en declaraciones al podcast de Sky F1 Backstage Boxengasse.
