Flavio Prado vê um momento alarmante do Palmeiras. Apesar do investimento de R$ 435 milhões em reforços, o time alviverde ainda não encantou os torcedores, algo que motivou um aviso de risco atrelado ao comando de Abel Ferreira. Como o português segue “blindado”, o experiente profissional não descarta um ano repleto de consequências pesadas e, consequentemente, sem títulos de peso.
“O Vitor Roque acabou de chegar, não dá para exigir que chegue jogando muito, tem que esperar o Paulinho… tem uma série de situações para serem vistas. O problema é a performance do Palmeiras, que faz tempo que não joga um futebol de bom nível e com recorrentes eliminações dentro de casa.”, disse Flavio Prado, no Bate-Pronto, da Jovem Pan.
“O Palmeiras não tem jogado bem nas decisões em casa. Isso precisa ser cobrado […] Todos os técnicos deveriam ser blindados, mas a blindagem ao Abel pode levar o Palmeiras a consequências complicadas. Gastou meio bilhão de reais, tem que mostrar uma coisa a mais.”, acrescentou.

“Eu nunca fui fã do Abel Ferreira. Acho que o futebol dele é pragmático. Ele deu muita sorte de pegar um time com a estrutura do Palmeiras e adversários que não são fortes assim. Só que o futebol tem piorado. Desde a segunda Libertadores, o nível caiu e os títulos não estão vindo.”

Por enquanto, Flavio Prado não exige o desligamento de Abel Ferreira.
