Richarlyson projetou evolução no Palmeiras de Abel Ferreira ao longo do ano. O time não está em sua melhor forma neste momento e recebe pressão por um melhor desempenho.
“Eu não tenho dúvida que esse time do Palmeiras esse ano ainda vai voltar a ser forte, vai voltar a jogar bem e vai dar resposta que o torcedor quer”, decretou ele, no programa “Seleção SporTV”.
O Verdão foi o clube que mais investiu no mercado da bola neste ano, com sete novos reforços ao todo, incluindo o jovem ex-Barcelona Vitor Roque. Sendo assim, a expectativa é de taças “pesadas”, o que não aconteceu em 2024 (conquistou apenas o Paulistão).
Richarlyson indica equívoco de Abel
De acordo com análise do ex-atleta, o português erra ao não dar liberdade para Estêvão atuar pelo meio: “Ele poderia contribuir muito mais com o Palmeiras se tivesse liberdade. Dificilmente você vê o Estêvão por dentro”, alertou.
Não é só Richarlyson que desaprova essa escolha do comandante europeu. O experiente Vanderlei Luxemburgou foi mais um a chamar a atenção para isso:
“Abel, dá um jeito de botar o Estêvão para dentro. Ele é muito talento para ficar do lado do campo dando drible ali, cara. Ele vai fazer drible e vai botar os caras na cara do gol”, solicitou o ex-técnico, no Charla Podcast.

Pressionado por parte dos torcedores, o português tem o respaldo total da diretoria, que deseja ampliar o contrato por mais tempo. Atualmente, o técnico tem vínculo até dezembro deste ano.
Ele está no clube da Barra Funda desde o fim de 2020 e venceu 10 taças até agora, em especial duas vezes a Copa Libertadores da América.
Diante do forte elenco, o Palmeiras é um dos favoritos aos principais títulos ao lado de Flamengo, Internacional, Corinthians e outros.
