Der SC Magdeburg kann nach dem knappen Sieg im Ost-Derby beim SC DHfK Leipzig weiter von der Titelverteidigung in der Handball-Bundesliga träumen.
Weil seine Spieler am Abend zuvor im Leipziger Mannschaftshotel im TV richtig hingeschaut und die noch richtigeren Lehren gezogen hatten. Trainer Bennet Wiegert verriet jedenfalls gegenüber dem MDR: „Wir haben im Hotel die Ergebnisse verfolgt, die Spiele verfolgt. Und wir haben uns gar nicht so gefreut, dass irgendwer Punkte verloren hat.“
