Handball-Protest – Zoff um Jugend-Meisterschaft in Thüringen

In der 2. Handball-Liga kam es zuletzt zu massivem Ärger, weil bei den Spielen des VfL Lübeck-Schwartau gegen den HC Elbflorenz und des TuS Ferndorf gegen den ASV Hamm regelwidrig acht Spieler auf den Platten standen.

Ärger gibt es jetzt auch im Amateur-Bereich, genauer gesagt wegen der Landesmeisterschaft der männlichen B-Junioren unter dem Dach des Thüringer Handball-Verbands (THV).

Handball: Zoff um Jugend-Meisterschaft in Thüringen

Das erste Unglück hat mit dem Spielkalender zu tun. Vergangenes Wochenende wurden die Landesmeisterschaften der B- und C-Junioren zeitgleich in Mühlhausen und Jena ausgespielt. Jeweils dafür qualifiziert waren die besten zwei Teams aus den beiden Oberligen 1 und 2.

Problem: Der ThSV Eisenach e.V. war für beide Altersklassen qualifiziert, konnte wegen der Zeitgleichheit nur bei den C-Junioren antreten. Der Platz der Eisenacher bei den B-Junioren wurde deshalb an den Nordhäuser SV vergeben, weswegen die SG Saalfeld/Könitz/Blankenburg bereits im Vorfeld eine Protest-Note an den THV schickte.

Ausgerechnet der nachnominierte Nordhäuser SV holte sich schließlich den Thüringen-Titel bei den B-Junioren. Folge: nächste Post der SG Saalfeld/Könitz/Blankenburg an den Verband. SG-Leiter Julian Bizuga zu SPORT BILD: „Unser Einspruch wurde fristgerecht eingelegt und wird nun vom Sportgericht behandelt.“

[–>Dessen Ausgang ist offen, Verband und Nordhausen können bis zum 24. April Stellungnahmen abgeben. Sportlich hat außer Bizugas Spielgemeinschaft vor allem der ThSV Eisenach e.V. zu leiden.

Der Verein hatte den THV bereits vor den Landesmeisterschaften auf das kalendarische Problem hingewiesen. Till Bitterlich, sportlicher Leiter beim ThSV Eisenach e.V.: „Wir sind sofort nach Bekanntgabe der gleichzeitigen Terminierung mit der spielleitenden Stelle des THV in den Austausch gegangen und haben eine nachträgliche Trennung der Finaltermine erbeten. Für die auf Basis der Durchführungsbestimmungen aber schon korrekt erfolgte Terminierung gab es dort keinen Handlungsspielraum mehr. Das müssen wir so akzeptieren, auch wenn es uns aus sportlicher Sicht natürlich schadet.“

Am Ende ist Eisenach doppelt traurig. Die C-Junioren wurden wegen schlechterer Tor-Differenz „nur“ Zweiter in Thüringen. Die B-Junioren wurden im Nachgang auf „außer Konkurrenz“ und den letzten Platz in der Oberliga 1 gesetzt, was in der Spielordnung des THV nicht eindeutig geregelt sein soll. Diese Staffel hatten die Eisenacher mit zehn Siegen, zwei Unentschieden und 304:208-Toren eigentlich gewonnen.

Study shows less online abuse of athletes during March Madness
