„Zápasy play off jsou těžké, skoro všechny jsou těsné. Ten pondělní byl sice o čtyři góly, ale o tom rozhodla první třetina. Ke každému utkání musíme přistoupit s respektem, odmakat celých 60 minut a doufat, že to pro nás dopadne dobře. Snažíme se eliminovat velké šance Hradce z mezikruží. Dnes jsme jim dali na konci první třetiny gól a zbytek zápasu jsme takticky zvládli na výbornou,“ chválil Kelemen práci Dynama, které je za stavu 3:1 na zápasy jediný triumf od postupu do extraligového finále.
„Máme další dvě výhry, které jsme potřebovali. Na obou domácích zápasech byla skvělá atmosféra, která nás hnala dopředu, a my za ni děkujeme. Teď se přesouváme zpět do Hradce, kde se budeme snažit sérii ukončit.“
Pardubice drží svými výkony brankář Roman Will, který v obou domácích utkáních vychytal nulu. V letošním ročníku play off už má tři čistá konta.
„Willda chytá výborně. Dokáže chytit i velké šance soupeře a je díky tomu oporou. Podrží nás a my se na něj můžeme spolehnout v těžkých chvílích. Také se mu snažíme pomáhat a myslím si, že i on to cítí. Hrajeme jeden za druhého,“ vyzdvihl slovenský útočník práci svého brankáře.
V pondělním utkání přišly Pardubice o svého kapitána Lukáše Sedláka. Hradecký Martin Pláněk ho nevybíravým zákrokem poslal rovnou do nemocnice. Z té už 32letého útočníka propustili, ale návrat na led zatím nepřipadá v úvahu.
„Je to pro nás velká ztráta, ale jsme rádi, že je Sedlo stabilizovaný a v pořádku. Všichni jsme výborná parta a jsme rádi, že mu není nic vážného, protože to vypadalo špatně. Bojujeme za všechny zraněné spoluhráče a musíme v tom pokračovat,“ líčil Kelemen.
„Nemyslím si ale, že bychom bez něj hráli jinak. Každý zápas je v této fázi sezony důležitý. Snažili jsme se nastoupit stejně jako včera, ale i oni chtějí vyhrát. Zatlačili nás, ale na konci 1. třetiny jsme dali gól, což nás uklidnilo. Myslím si, že jsme zápas zvládli dobře,“ pokračoval autor vítězné branky.

Kelemen krouží kolem branky, aby vstřelil rozhodující gól čtvrtého semifinále.
„Ani nevím, jestli mou střelu tečoval nějaký obránce. Snažíme se tlačit před branku, aby tam nebyla přehledná situace. Já jsem viděl, že se otevřel prostor ke střele, a puk prošel brankáři mezi betony,“ popisoval svůj letošní druhý gól v play off.
„Hradec pak potřeboval dát gól a my jsme čekali na brejky, ze kterých bychom se dostali do šance. Nějaké přišly a mohli jsme zápas rozhodnout i dřív.“
„Dnes jsme hlavně předvedli disciplinovaný výkon, oboustranně se hrál výborný hokej bez zbytečných vyloučení a bez zákeřností. Samozřejmě se hrálo tvrdě, ale i rozhodčí to skvěle zvládli, takže celkově výborný zápas.“
