Die Wahl zum Handball-Tor des Monats März hat einen klaren Sieger hervorgebracht. Und der darf sogar noch bei den Junioren mitmischen!
Matej Jahodar sicherte sich mit 38 Prozent der Stimmen bei der von der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga veranstalteten Online-Wahl Platz eins.
Wie überzeugte Jahodar die Handball-Anhänger in Deutschland? Mit einem technisch herausragenden Treffer für seinen Verein HSG Blankenburg (Thüringen) im Spiel der Regionalliga Mitteldeutschland gegen den HC Glauchau/Meerane.
Jahodar schloss einen Kempa-Pass über das gesamte Spielfeld mit einem akrobatischen Wurf in der Luft stehend hinter und mit dem Rücken zum Tor ab. Prädikat: Absolut sehenswert (s. Video unten).
A-Jugend-Spieler Matej Jahodar wirft Tor des Monats März
Ein A-Jugendlicher aus Thüringen zieht die Profis ab. Das kommt Ihnen bekannt vor? Stimmt! Bereits der Torschütze des Monats Februar war ein A-Jugendspieler aus dem Freistaat. Seinerzeit setzte sich Paul Oelschläger vom ThSV Eisenach durch. Der einzige Unterschied der beiden: Während Oelschläger seinen Treffer in seiner Altersklasse erzielte, gelang dies Jahodar bei den „Großen“ im Seniorenbereich.
Platz zwei und drei gingen diesmal ebenfalls ins Amateurlager. Oberliga-Spielerin Linn Gutsche vom TSV Birkenau (Hessen) traf in der allerletzten Aktion des Spiels gegen die HSG Walzbachtal per direktem Freiwurf in den Winkel! Dafür erhielt sie 22 Prozent der Stimmen.
Torwart Philipp Holzfuß von Bezirksligist HSG Körle/Guxhagen 2 (Hessen) landete mit seinem Treffer aus dem eigenen Kreis in seinem letzten Spiel für den Klub auf Platz drei (17 Prozent).
Erst dahinter folgten mit Lucie-Marie Kretzschmar (HSG Bensheim/Auerbach), Eric Johannsson (THW Kiel) und Finn Schroven (Dormagen) die Profis.
