„Ve finále se trestá každá chyba, takže se našeho plánu musíme držet 60 minut, a ne jen 58. Určitě jsme si ale dokázali, že na Dynamo máme,“ uvedl po páteční porážce obránce Komety Jan Ščotka.
Utkání vypadalo téměř na vlas stejně jako o den dříve, jen role se vyměnily. Zatímco ve čtvrtek šly do vedení Pardubice, aby duel nakonec prohrály, tentokrát si černého Petra vytáhla Kometa. Hosté přitom měli dobrý vstup do první třetiny, ve které tradičně důsledně bránili střední pásmo a nenabízeli Pardubicím mnoho šancí.

Jenže v přestávce mezi třetinami realizační tým Dynama přeskupil formace. Lukáš Radil se dokonce nevešel do sestavy a impuls trenérů vůči hráčům zafungoval. Brňané se místy dostávali pod drtivý tlak, přesto šli paradoxně z jediné vážné šance do vedení.
Jenže těžkou situaci Pardubice zvládly a dvěma trefami v rozmezí 42 vteřin strhly zápas na svou stranu.
„Měli jsme daleko střídačku a Pardubice pár momentů, kdy nás zatlačily. Poté využily přesilovou hru a narostla jim křídla, takže druhá třetina rozhodla. Chtěli jsme zopakovat scénář ze čtvrtka, kdy jsme prohrávali o gól, ale soupeř nám to nedovolil,“ hodnotil smířlivě porážku ve druhém duelu kouč Komety Kamil Pokorný.

Rozdílový zásah nakonec zaznamenal Jáchym Kondelík, který využil nepozornosti brněnské defenzivy a precizní střelou zakončil přečíslení dvou na jednoho. „Zůstal jsem viset ve středu. Myslel jsem si, že máme brejk pokrytý centrem. My ale musíme dát především více než jeden gól,“ komentoval inkriminovaný moment Ščotka.
Finálová série se už jistě do Pardubic vrátí, teď se každopádně přesouvá do Brna, kde se soupeři střetnou v pondělí a úterý. Závěrečná rozmíška Lukáše Cingeľa s několika pardubickými hráči ale ukázala, že se fanoušci mají nač těšit. „To k tomu patří. Člověk si soupeře vždycky chystá na další zápas,“ pousmál se mistr světa z Prahy Ščotka.
