The Aaron Rodgers saga seems never-ending. He hasn’t said yes to the Pittsburgh Steelers and is still waiting on a response from the Minnesota Vikings. Just a few days ago, on The Pat McAfee Show, he even threatened to retire if he doesn’t get an opportunity in the NFL that benefits him.
The reality is, the Steelers are interested in him – even their fans have voiced support – but Rodgers has yet to give an answer. With the NFL Draft looming, time may be running out for the former New York Jets quarterback, as Pittsburgh now seems to be eyeing draft prospects like Jaxson Dart and Shedeur Sanders.

A few days ago, on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers went all-in on the Jets’ new regime, calling the team a “disaster” and specifically targeting new head coach Aaron Glenn, who allegedly told Rodgers he wouldn’t be receiving another dollar from the franchise.
Despite the harsh criticism, the Jets’ new leadership has remained silent and handled the situation with poise. Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey have not responded publicly and seem unwilling to address the matter at all.
The truth is, responding to Rodgers wouldn’t help the Jets – it would only fuel controversy and give more attention to a quarterback who managed just a 5-12 record last season as their starter.
During the upcoming NFL Draft, Glenn and Mougey will likely be asked about Rodgers, but the smart move would be to stay focused solely on the players they plan to draft.
This situation should also serve as a wake-up call for the Steelers and Vikings, the two teams currently linked to Rodgers. There’s no question about his talent and résumé, but he might also be a ticking time bomb for any locker room that takes the chance on him.
