Im Leihvertrag von Jadon Sancho, der aktuell bei Chelsea im Kader steht, hat eine entscheidende Klausel gegriffen. Die „Red Devils“ können nun mit einer Zahlung von bis zu 30 Millionen Euro rechnen. Doch der Transfer ist noch nicht fix.
Für ManUniteds Trainer Ruben Amorim steht ein Sommer an, in dem er liefern muss. Nach nur einem Neuzugang im Januar (Patrick Dorgu) plant er seine erste große Kaderumgestaltung. Die Qualifikation für die Champions League – praktisch Pflicht. Das kann bis zu 115 Mio. Euro in die Kassen spülen.

Der Flügelspieler steht am Ende eines einjährigen Leihvertrags bei Chelsea. Die Vereinbarung enthält eine Kaufverpflichtung zwischen 27 und 30 Millionen Euro. Aber: Chelsea hat eine Ausstiegsklausel im Leihvertrag verankern lassen, mit Hilfe derer Sancho zurück nach Manchester geschickt werden kann. Vorausgesetzt, Chelsea zahlt eine „Strafgebühr“ von knapp 6 Millionen Euro.
Transfer-Experte Ben Jacobs fasste bei X zusammen: „Chelseas Sieg über Fulham bedeutet, dass die Kaufverpflichtung für Jadon Sancho aktiviert wurde. Chelsea kann die Verpflichtung jedoch mit einer Zahlung an ManUnited umgehen. Die Entscheidung, ob Sancho bleibt, fällt am Ende der Saison.“
Sancho hat in dieser Saison für die „Blues“ dreimal getroffen und zehnmal aufgelegt – zu wenig, um die Leihe als echten Erfolg zu feiern.
