Last season, over 17 games, Jackson threw for 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns, with just 4 interceptions, achieving an impressive passer rating of 119.6. His leadership was outstanding, and he came very close to reaching the AFC Championship once again.
A new contract is on the way for Lamar Jackson
The first step is already done-Baltimore Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta agreed to a new deal with left tackle Ronnie Stanley: a 3-year, $60 million contract to keep protecting Lamar Jackson.
The Ravens also have to decide on whether to renew safety Kyle Hamilton and center Tyler Linderbaum. Plus, Jackson is projected to have a salary cap hit of over $70 million for the 2026 season. Because of this, the team will need to restructure his contract, and Lamar is likely to become the highest-paid player in the NFL.
Just a few days ago, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh confirmed that Jackson will receive a contract that will be historic and surpass all others in the league.
