Der VfB Stuttgart verliert das schwäbische Nachbarschaftsduell gegen Heidenheim überraschend mit 0:1.
Heidenheim-Joker Mathias Honsak (28) sorgt mit einem feinen Schlenzer kurz vor Schluss für den Heidenheim-Sieg (89.) – und für Stuttgarts 6. (!) Heim-Pleite in Serie! Damit hält der Heim-Fluch des VfB weiter an!
In einem sonst müden Spiel sorgt eine kuriose Schnürsenkel-Panne für Aufsehen!
Nach einem Foul von Krätzig reißen bei Stuttgarts Angelo Stiller (24) wohl die Schnürsenkel bei einem seiner Treter (17.).

Überhaupt konnte der VfB nur eines der vergangenen 10 Bundesliga-Spiele gewinnen, ist im Kalenderjahr 2025 von Champions-League-Platz 4 auf Rang 11 abgerutscht.

Woltemade nach Abpfiff bei DAZN: „Es wird immer enger, an die internationalen Plätze ranzukommen. Dafür sind wir im Moment nicht gut genug. Aber wir haben das Glück, dass wir noch ein Pokal-Finale haben. Trotzdem fühlt es sich gerade schlecht an, weil wir wollen die Liga auf keinen Fall vernachlässigen.“
Heidenheim sammelt dagegen vor dem Keller-Kracher gegen Bochum am kommenden Freitag Hoffnung im Abstiegskampf, hat nun 5 Zähler Vorsprung auf die direkten Abstiegsplätze.
