Viktor Gyökeres está a protagonizar uma temporada absolutamente histórica. O avançado do Sporting lidera atualmente a corrida pela Bota de Ouro europeia, superando nomes sonantes como os de Mohamed Salah, Robert Lewandowski, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé ou Erling Haaland, entre outros. Um feito que, por si só, diz muito sobre o impacto que o sueco está a ter não apenas no futebol português, mas também no panorama internacional, e que se consumou depois do poker apontado neste domingo, no triunfo (5-0) dos leões diante do Boavista.
Com um registo impressionante de golos em 2024/25 – são 38 em 30 jogos na Liga Portuguesa, 52 em 48 partidas no total da temporada – e uma influência determinante no conjunto leonino, Gyökeres continua a cimentar o estatuto de estrela em Alvalade. Parece pouco provável, no entanto, que a sua estadia no emblema verde e branco tenha muitos mais capítulos. Afinal, o seu rendimento não está a passar despercebido às grandes equipas europeias e, como já seria de esperar, o ponta de lança tem despertado o interesse de alguns dos clubes com mais poderio financeiro do mundo. Basta ver que, nas últimas semanas, o interesse do Arsenal ganhou dimensão na imprensa desportiva internacional, com o Atlético de Madrid a ser igualmente referido como um dos principais pretendentes.
Perante este cenário, parece claro que o Sporting vai ter enormes dificuldades para manter o seu goleador na próxima época, sendo certo que irá garantir um encaixe financeiro significativo com a sua transferência, quem sabe até recorde em Alvalade. Atualmente, vale recordar, a maior venda já realizada pelo clube foi a de Bruno Fernandes para o Manchester United, que, após terem sido cumpridos os objetivos acordados com os red devils, alcançou os 65 milhões de euros. Desportivamente, porém, a perda de Gyökeres será difícil de colmatar. Muito difícil.
Num verão que se antevê agitado em Alvalade, a liderança de Gyökeres na luta pela Bota de Ouro é tanto um motivo de orgulho e satisfação, como um sinal de que a passagem do avançado sueco pelo reino do leão poderá estar perto do fim. O próximo destino será, muito provavelmente, um dos maiores palcos do futebol mundial.
Valor de mercado disparou em Alvalade
A crescente cobiça pelos serviços de Gyökeres, diga-se, surpreende apenas os mais desatentos, já que a cotação do avançado tem subido em flecha desde que se transferiu para o Sporting, no verão de 2023. Na altura, o sueco estava avaliado em somente 13 milhões de euros, sendo que os leões pagaram um total de 24 milhões de euros pelo seu passe ao Coventry City. Ao dia de hoje, contudo, a realidade é muito diferente: depois de apontar uns impressionantes 95 golos em 98 jogos de leão ao peito, Gyökeres passou a ter um valor de mercado de 75 milhões de euros, o mais alto já registado por um jogador do campeonato português.
Vinculado aos verde e brancos até junho de 2028, Gyökeres, de 26 anos, está ‘blindado’ por uma cláusula de rescisão de 100 milhões de euros. Mesmo que o venda por um valor mais baixo, como é provável que aconteça, o Sporting prepara-se para protagonizar um dos maiores negócios – se não mesmo o maior negócio – da sua história. Resta saber que gigante europeu conseguirá assegurar a sua contratação.
