Butler scored 27 points, 14 of which came during the fourth quarter, including the Warrior‘s final seven points and nine of their last 12 points, even though he missed game 3 due to a pelvis and deep gluteal muscle contusion.
Golden State‘s head coach Steve Kerr acknowledged the offensive and defensive power that Butler brings to the team, and that’s why he has earned the nickname “Playoff Jimmy.” “He just does so many things. He makes so many big plays,” Kerr added.

The Golden State Warriors were super happy that they got Jimmy Butler back for their playoff series against the Houston Rockets. The team and fans had a loud ovation for “Playoff Jimmy” during the warm ups of game 4 and Butler got into the groove of the happiness.
However, parody account NBA Centel posted the video with the caption “Jimmy Butler was seen celebrating after hearing the Cavs swept the Heat.” Basketball fans remember all the drama between the player and Miami that ended up wit the Florida team trading the shooting superstar in early February.
Fans also weigh in on the controversy. “I knew this isn’t why he’s celebrating but I hope he keeps that same energy when they won’t win a title this year and Celtics repeat or Oklahoma City prove to people they are No. 1 seed for a reason,” posted an X user. “That’s a feel good for Jimmy. Pat Riley is not sleeping well this summer,” someone else added.
The Warriors want to finish the Rockets at Houston
The Golden State Warriors return to Houston for Game 5 on Wednesday night, as the California team looks to close out the series and advance to the Western Conference. Semifinals. In order to do so, they will need the very best out of iconic shooter Stephen Curry, as well as all the talent from Jimmy Butler.
