Shedeur Sanders isn’t waiting on the NFL field to make noise-he’s already creating buzz everywhere else.
Just days after being picked 144th overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 2025 NFL Draft, the former Colorado quarterback threw himself a party that looked more like a music video than a rookie celebration. Hosted in Dallas and backed by Meta Quest and 2Legendary, Sanders’ “Legendary” bash had lights, cameras, and plenty of star power-including another appearance by Grammy-nominated dancehall artist Shenseea.
Shedeur Sanders and Deion Sanders family hierarchy conversation resurfaces in viral video
The 28-year-old Jamaican star popped up in Sanders’ own Instagram Reels footage, appearing on the red carpet and later inside the venue. It’s the second time the two have been seen together, and while nothing romantic has been confirmed, fans have definitely noticed. Shenseea even posted her party fit on Instagram, adding fuel to the speculation fire that’s been burning since draft weekend.
Off the field, he’s already a headliner
Sanders’ ability to stay in the spotlight has shades of his dad, Deion “Prime Time” Sanders-who, of course, knows a thing or two about stealing attention. Whether or not Shenseea’s cameo was planned, it adds to the narrative: Shedeur’s presence is bigger than the pick he was taken at.
It wasn’t just Shenseea lighting up the guest list. Celebs like Kodak Black and Yung Miami were also spotted at the event, which had a curated, VIP-only feel and gave more Hollywood than NFL draft green room. While most rookies are busy adjusting to the league, Sanders is already building a lifestyle brand.
Still, there’s serious football business ahead.
Cleveland’s QB room is no cakewalk. With Deshaun Watson locked in on a massive guaranteed deal, veterans like Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett in the mix, and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel from Oregon looking sharp, Sanders will have to fight just to make the depth chart.
But if visibility counts for anything, Sanders is already winning. His party trended on social media, his name is bouncing around blogs and entertainment feeds, and he’s keeping himself at the center of multiple conversations.
The next question isn’t about his brand. It’s about whether he can make noise on the field the way he’s doing off of it.
