Das ruhmreichste Rennen der Saison!
Die Formel E ist nach drei Wochen Pause wieder zurück und das auf der wohl bekanntesten Rennstrecke der Welt in Monaco. Am Samstag (3.5.) und Sonntag (4.5.) stehen dabei zum ersten Mal im Fürstentum gleich zwei Rennen auf dem Programm.
Das Rennen ist dabei ein wahrer Klassiker im Rennkalender der Formel E. Auf keinem Kurs fährt die Formel E so lang wie auf dem Circuit de Monaco. Das erste Rennen war vor knapp zehn Jahren.
[–>In 2025 gibt es jedoch eine weitere Neuerung. Neben dem Double-Header kommt in Monte-Carlo im ersten Rennen auch der Pit Boost wieder zum Einsatz. Dieser wurde zum ersten Mal in Saudi-Arabien eingesetzt. Bei einem obligatorischen Boxenstopp werden die Rennwagen mit einem 600-kW-Lader mit 3,85 kWh aufgeladen. Sie haben also zehn Prozent mehr Energie zur Verfügung.
Viele offene Variablen, Weltmeister Pascal Wehrlein (30) meint vor dem Wochenende: „Im Rennen gehört neben der Strategie auch etwas Glück dazu, weil gute Pace wegen der Enge der Strecke allein nicht reicht.“
Formel E: Läuft der Monaco E-Prix am Wochenende im Free-TV?
Alle Motorsport-Fans dürfen sich freuen: Jede Session aus dem Fürstentum können Sie kostenlos schauen. Während die Freien Trainings auf der offiziellen Website der Formel E gezeigt werden, überträgt das Qualifying und das Rennen der kostenlose Privatsender DF1.
Beim mit zwei Rennen vollgepackten Rennwochenende lohnt sich der Blick auf den Zeitplan für beide Tage:

Der Monaco E-Prix – die Strecke
Auf kaum einer Strecke liegen die Leitplanken so nah wie in Monte-Carlo. Für den Fahrer gilt jederzeit absoluter Fokus, sonst landet man direkt in der Mauer. Seit der Premierensaison fährt die vollelektrische Rennserie in Monaco – allerdings zunächst auf einer verkürzten Strecke.
Erst seit 2021 rasen die Boliden auf demselben Kurs wie die Formel 1. Die berühmten Abschnitte wie das Casino, die Haarnadel, der Tunnel oder die Rascasse müssen somit immer bewältigt werden.
Besonders kurios: Alle Fahrer, die seit der Premiere in Monaco auf Platz 1 oder 2 ins Ziel kamen, die Pole-Position holten oder den Zusatzpunkt für die schnellste Rennrunde bekamen, fahren auch 2025 noch in der Formel E. Das Fahrerfeld bietet somit einige wahre Monaco-Experten.

In Monaco trifft sich der Formel-E-Zirkus zum 6. und 7. Rennen. Bislang konnte nur der WM-Führende Oliver Rowland (32) zwei Siege einfahren – kann womöglich Titelverteidiger Pascal Wehrlein, der zuletzt in Miami gewann, das ändern?
