Having to face a rival already means having a good strategy behind it. But add to that having to face a team like the Kansas City Chiefs, at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium and with a vocal fan base, and it’s a different story.
Several teams have had to consider the fans as a player against them and it’s a dream come true for the Chiefs players to walk into the stadium and be greeted in such a manner. Selected by Kansas City after they moved up 10 spots in the 2025 Draft to get him, Nohl Williams confessed and described how he envisions his entrance to the stadium while speaking to the media prior to the team’s rookie minicamp:
Having a stadium like Arrowhead, it’s one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL, so just being on defense and having that energy behind you, I feel like it’s going to be a feeling like no other.
Now that he’s one of them, the 6-foot-1, 89-pound cornerback could only show words of gratitude, “They believe in my abilities to take it to the next level. I can only repay them by giving it my all.”

As he demonstrated in his college video by intercepting Cam Ward with a flawless kickoff return, he responded about his future and the pressure of wearing Chiefs colors, “I just want to dominate the playbook, connect with my teammates.”
However, with flawless confidence and determination, he made a promise to the loud fans, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the team: “Bring them another Super Bowl”.

The cornerback grew up in California, but that didn’t stop him from being a loyal and big Kansas City fan, although his heart was divided in two: “At first, it was the San Diego Chargers -now Los Angeles-, then Kansas City, because my favorite player was De’Anthony Thomas, and they drafted him here. And that’s when I made the switch,” he confessed.
From then on, his heart chased and he was aware of what was going on with the team: “They always connected me with the Chiefs…. I watched them from the time of Alex Smith, Dexter McCluster, Jamaal Charles, all those guys” he closed.
Nohl’s numbers
Hailing from Golden Bears, during his last two seasons he recorded 105 total tackles, 9 interceptions, 15 passes defended and 2 forced fumbles.
This earned him a reputation as a valuable ball-hunter who covers defenders and tackles with physicality, and that is what he hopes Steve Spagnuolo will give to the team and that he will integrate in the best way possible into the system set forth by the defensive coordinator.
