Renato Augusto foi a grande novidade entre os relacionados do Fluminense no jogo contra o Sport, sábado, pelo Brasileirão. Renato Gaúcho revelou que gostaria de dar alguns minutos para o meia, mas o desenrolar da partida mudou seus planos.
Em entrevista coletiva, o treinador demonstrou toda sua admiração pelo camisa 7 tricolor. O jogador se lesionou em 28 de janeiro, no jogo contra o Madureira, pelo Campeonato Carioca.
“É um jogador que eu sempre admirei, é acima da média. Trouxe-o pela primeira vez, até então ele não estava concentrando porque estava se recuperando. Falo com ele diariamente e disse que, quando estiver pronto, me avisa. Essa semana ele falou que estava pronto e relacionei para este jogo”, disse Renato Gaúcho.

Renato Augusto ficou praticamente dois meses fora em razão de uma luxação no ombro. Com isso, precisou passar por um trabalho especial para o seu recondicionamento físico.
“Ele está há muito tempo parado e um jogo como esse, corrido, poderia sentir a falta de ritmo e, de repente, até nos prejudicar. Vai precisar readquirir o ritmo de jogo dele, nós temos agora um confronto da Sul-Americana e provavelmente vai ser aproveitado. Ele é muito inteligente e gosto dele”, revelou Renato Gaúcho.
Líder do Grupo F com sete pontos, o Fluminense enfrenta o GV San José na próxima quinta-feira (8), em La Paz, pela quarta rodada da Sul-Americana.

Escolhido para a vaga de Mano Menezes, Renato Portaluppi tem alcançado bons resultados nestes primeiros 30 dias no comando do Flu. Até aqui, são seis jogos pelo Brasileirão com quatro vitórias, um empate e uma derrota.
Na Sul-Americana, o retrospecto também é positivo (uma vitória e um empate).
“O mais difícil é a falta de tempo para trabalhar. A cada três dias, um jogo. A gente precisa melhorar, mas tenho dado parabéns ao grupo pelo que tem feito de bom. O Fluminense perdeu a primeira rodada quando cheguei aqui, mas hoje está em quarto lugar”, analisou o técnico.
