Em entrevista coletiva, António Oliveira alegou que o principal desafio é trabalhar o aspecto emocional dos jogadores. Entretanto, entende que o momento é de total apoio dos torcedores para rapidamente sair desta situação.
“A situação do Sport é resgatar rapidamente e mentalmente esta equipe. Aquilo que eu peço não é paciência. Eles (os torcedores) já perderam. O que peço é o apoio deles, incondicional. O que podem esperar de mim é muito trabalho”, declarou o português.
