O Flamengo teve cinco convocados para a seleção brasileira nesta segunda-feira. Os laterais Wesley e Alex Sandro, os zagueiros Danilo e Léo Ortiz e o meia Gerson estão na primeira lista do novo treinador, Carlo Ancelotti. As chamadas, porém, não devem ser problema para o rubro-negro.
O quinteto foi convocado para as partidas contra Equador e Paraguai, nos próximos dias 5 e 10. O Flamengo, que disputará a Copa do Mundo de Clubes a partir do dia 16, encerra seus compromissos no Brasileirão no dia 1º, quando recebe o Fortaleza — o compromisso seguinte, diante do Sport, foi adiado justamente por conta da viagem para a competição.
Como a partida contra os paraguaios será no Brasil, na Neo Química Arena, os representantes rubro-negros não devem ser problema para a reapresentação ao clube antes da viagem aos Estados Unidos.
