Ich habe im Sommer hart gearbeitet, nachdem ich mich bei der Nationalmannschaft verletzt hatte“, erzählte er. „Ich wusste, dass ich mich gut vorbereiten muss, und ich hatte das Glück, von Verletzungen verschont zu bleiben. Ich konnte das genießen, was ich am meisten liebe.“
Pedri betonte, wie wichtig es ist, aus schwierigen Zeiten zu lernen. „Wenn du draußen bist, lernst du viel, weil du den Fußball aus einer anderen Perspektive siehst. Es macht dich stärker. Wenn du fällst, macht dich das Aufstehen stärker.“
Nach der Saison bekommt Pedri eine Pause, wird aber auch für Spanien aktiv sein. Die Nationalelf trifft im nächsten Monat in Deutschland im Halbfinale der Nations League auf Frankreich. Ein aufregender Sommer für Pedri!
