Erdbeben im Tabellenkeller der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga!

Der TVB Stuttgart gewinnt sensationell mit 33:26 bei den Rhein-Neckar Löwen — holen nach sechs (!) Niederlagen in Serie und zwei Hammer-Pleiten gegen die direkten Konkurrenten Erlangen (27:30) und Bietigheim (26:30) zwei mega-wichtige Punkte im Abstiegskampf.

Zeitgleich verballert Aufsteiger SG BBM Bietigheim gegen European-League-Sieger SG Flensburg-Handewitt einen Neun-Tore-Vorsprung, schafft aber zumindest ein 29:29-Unentschieden. Nach dem Abpfiff feiern die Spieler, als hätten sie gewonnen. Was für eine Achterbahn der Gefühle!

Was für ein Krimi in Bietigheim am Schluss! Flensburg hat Ballbesitz, doch ausgerechnet Jim Gottfridsson unterläuft ein Fehlpass vor dem Kreis. 21 Sekunden vor Ende! Ball abgefangen, das Tor der Gäste ist leer. Doch keiner geht das Risiko bei den Gastgebern ein. Stattdessen wird der Angriff ausgespielt — bleibt aber ohne Torabschluss.

Bietigheims Tom Wolf: „Wir haben keine Fehler gemacht, wir haben an uns geglaubt, in der ersten Halbzeit hat sehr, sehr viel gepasst. Wir haben uns in einen kleinen Rausch gespielt. Wir sind am Ende in Überzahl, da kannst du es ruhig angehen lassen. Ich ärger mich maßlos, die Seite war frei und ich hätte vielleicht auch einen Wurf loswerden können. Ich hätte gerne die zwei Punkte für uns geholt. Der Punkt ist unglaublich!“
