Bahnt sich ein Mega-Transfer an?
Wie die englische Zeitung „Daily Mail“ berichtet, hat sich der Berater von Manchester Uniteds Superstar Bruno Fernandes am Donnerstag in einem Hotel in Riad persönlich mit Vertretern des saudi-arabischen Vereins Al-Hilal getroffen. Es ging dabei um einen Transfer des Spielmachers.
Verliert Man United Superstar Fernandes?
Gerüchte um Fernandes und Klubs aus der Wüste halten sich schon länger. Jetzt macht Al-Hilal offenbar Ernst. Am Montag hieß es bereits, dass der Saudi-Verein dem Man-United-Superstar ein Ultimatum von 72 Stunden gesetzt habe, um sich für einen Transfer zu entscheiden.

Aus saudi-arabischen Quellen ist zu hören, dass Al-Hilal Fernandes unbedingt für die Klub-WM (15. Juni bis 13. Juli) verpflichten wolle. In Verhandlungen soll dem Portugiesen mitgeteilt worden sein, dass es sich bei dem Angebot um eine einmalige Gelegenheit handeln soll.
Denn: Der Wüsten-Klub soll bereit sein, Fernandes‘ Man-United-Gehalt von 280.000 Pfund (333.000 Euro) pro Woche auf 700.000 Pfund (830.000 Euro) steuerfrei zu erhöhen. Das entspricht einem Jahresgehalt von rund 43,2 Millionen Euro – netto. Bonuszahlungen würden dann noch on top kommen.
An Manchester soll im Falle eines Ja-Wortes von Fernandes eine Ablösesumme von rund 120 Millionen Euro fließen. Zwar bei United soll intern beschlossen worden sein, dass der Leistungsträger nicht verkauft werden soll, so Berichte. Aber die Engländer haben finanzielle Schwierigkeiten. Nach einer miserablen Saison wurde das internationale Geschäft verpasst. Daher müssen Stars verkauft werden. Dazu könnte auch Fernandes zählen.
Der portugiesische Nationalspieler hatte das nach dem verlorenen Europa-League-Finale gegen Tottenham selbst angedeutet: „Wenn der Verein meint, es sei Zeit, sich zu trennen, weil er etwas Geld machen will, dann ist es eben so.“
