A segunda derrota consecutiva no Brasileirão Série A tornou novamente a situação de Luis Zubeldía desconfortável no MorumBIS. O São Paulo perdeu por 2 a 1 para o Bahia no sábado (31) e, aliado ao revés anterior para o Mirassol em casa na partida anterior, está apenas na 13ª colocação do Campeonato Brasileiro com 12 pontos, apenas dois na frente do primeiro time do Z-4.
Diante do mau começo tricolor na competição, nem mesmo a classificação tranquila na fase de grupos da Libertadores ameniza a situação de Zubeldía. Diante do cenário, Jorge Nicola atualizou as chances de uma eventual saída do treinador, caso o São Paulo não vença como mandante o Vasco no próximo dia 12, na última partida antes da parada para a Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa.

Entretanto, o argentino deverá permanecer no MorumBIS para o segundo semestre, com o jornalista rechaçando a possibilidade de saída do treinador.
“Repassei o questionamento para duas fontes diferentes do Departamento de Futebol do São Paulo e ambas asseguraram que não faz parte dos planos demitir Zubeldía”, informou Nicola em seu canal no YouTube.
O comentarista acrescentou que o SPFC terá que pagar uma multa rescisória de R$ 5 milhões, caso decida dispensar Luis Zubeldía. “A questão financeira, a dificuldade para encontrar um substituto, tudo isso joga a favor do treinador. Acho que a maior chance de Zubeldía cair é se a pressão em cima de Júlio Casares e Carlos Belmonte se tornar insustentável”, opinou o youtuber.
Athletico-PR e Atlético Nacional no caminho
O São Paulo conheceu ontem (2) seus adversários nas competições mata-mata. Pela Copa do Brasil, enfrentará o Athletico-PR, com o jogo decisivo em Curitiba. Já na Libertadores, o SPFC terá o Atlético Nacional pela frente, com a partida de volta no MorumBIS.
