„Líbí se mi, co se na Kladně tvoří, a jsem rád, že toho budu součástí. Věřím, že máme tým, který může v příští sezoně uspět, a udělám maximum pro to, aby se to povedlo,“ hlásí Forman.
„Věděli jsme, že má Míra několik nabídek a jsme rádi, že si vybral tu naši. Příchodem Míry získáváme dalšího z lídrů jak na ledě, tak v kabině,“ říká sportovní manažer klubu Jiří Burger.
Nabídek se rodákovi z Mělníku, který posledních patnáct extraligových sezon strávil ve Spartě a získal s ní šest medailí (vysněného zlata se však nedočkal), sešla opravdu celá řada. Z tuzemské nejvyšší soutěže projevily zájem podle informací Sport.cz Hradec Králové s Litvínovem, situaci sondovaly i České Budějovice, v nichž Forman v ročníku 2020/21 krátce hostoval.
Velkou touhu přivést majitele dvou startů za národní tým měly po postupu do nejvyšší německé soutěže Drážďany. Tuhle variantu ale nakonec Forman žijící se svou rodinou v Praze s ohledem na 150kilometrové cestování zamítl.
A tak nakonec zvítězilo Kladno…
Rytíře už během letní pauzy posílilo dalších jedenáct hráčů – obránci Blain, Matějíček, Tomek, Piskáček, Jandus a útočníci Kelly Klíma, Audette, Bareš, Marcel Barinka, Lisler a Konečný.
