A segunda janela de transferências desta temporada está aberta, e o Grêmio parece estar bem atento às possibilidades dentro do mercado da bola. Uma das prioridades do time tricolor é para o meio-campo. Porém, tudo indica que o clube acertou a contratação de Alex Santana.
Atualmente no Corinthians, após uma passagem pelo Athletico-PR, o volante surge como uma das opções para a lacuna no meio-campo do Tricolor, que tentou uma troca. O jogador já aceitou o contrato e é esperado nos próximos dias em Porto Alegre, onde vai realizar os exames físicos e a assinatura de toda a documentação.

De acordo com as informações do portal Careca de Saber TV e confirmação do ge, o reforço deve chegar por empréstimo ao Grêmio, com contrato até o final desta temporada. O jogador, assim que aprovado nos exames físicos, já deve ser integrado ao elenco do clube gaúcho.
Alex Santana está no Corinthians desde julho da temporada passada. Seu atual vínculo com o Timão é válido até dezembro de 2027. Neste ano, já são 22 jogos disputados – sendo dez como titular. Ele tem dois gols em 2025. Está sem atuar desde que entrou nos minutos finais na vitória sobre o Racing, por 1 a 0.
Além do volante, o Grêmio também negociações bem avançadas com outros nomes. Um dos acordos que está em andamento é a da contratação do zagueiro Adryelson. Ex-Botafogo, o jogador está emprestado pelo Lyon ao Anderlecht, da Bélgica, até o final de junho. Neste caso, nenhum acordo está selado.
Torcida do Grêmio fica na bronca
Nas redes sociais, a contratação dividiu opiniões com a decisão tomada pelo Grêmio, reclamando sobre o primeiro reforço nesta segunda janela de transferências. “Quando digo que o problema não tá na falta de dinheiro, tá em quem contrata. Grêmio gasta muito e gasta mal”, ressaltou um internauta no X (antigo Twitter).
“Temos que pensar no elenco da Série B já né, infelizmente”, comentou outro. “Jogador muito fraco, o Grêmio já tem desse no elenco”, apontou um terceiro. “Se marcar bem e ter pelo menos visão de jogo no passe que ele faz logo que ele desmarca já tá ok”, escreveu mais um torcedor do Tricolor Gaúcho.
