O Cruzeiro fechou 2024 apresentando um faturamento total de R$ 372 milhões, um crescimento de 53% em relação ao ano de 2023, como mostra estudo da empresa Sports Value. Sem considerar vendas de atletas o valor cai para R$ 297 milhões, mostrando que o clube conseguiu uma arrecadação importante, mantendo os principais nomes do elenco.
Porém é importante frisar que a Raposa ainda vive um cenário de indefinição ao seu futuro na questão financeira. Isso porque os custos com futebol foram de R$ 395 milhões, uma alta de 124%, sendo acima das receitas da última temporada.
Além disso, o time registrou um prejuízo de R$ 170 milhões em 2024, com crescimento da dívida, que hoje está em R$ 981 bilhões.
Detalhes das finanças do Cruzeiro
O clube registrou um crescimento em todas as suas fontes de receita de 2023 para 2024, com destaque para as recorrentes, que tiveram um aumento de 33%.
Porém é importante lembrar o impacto que a Raposa teve com a montagem do seu elenco, com a contratação de diversos reforços e que refletiu na situação financeira. Só com a folha salarial a equipe teve um gasto superior a R$ 200 milhões no último ano.
Planejamento para 2025
Na vice-liderança do Campeonato Brasileiro, a diretoria cruzeirense trabalha para ajustes no meio do ano. A ideia é contratar reforços pontuais para manter o clube na luta pelo título do Brasileirão e com chances de lutar pela taça da Copa do Brasil.
Vale citar que Pedro Lourenço, dono da SAF do Cruzeiro, chegou a questionar as contratações de jogadores, admitindo erros por parte da equipe.
“A realidade mostra para todo mundo: erramos muito nas contratações. Não vou citar nomes porque é deselegante. Trouxemos jogadores que não deveriam ser contratados. Estou aqui pedindo desculpas para a torcida, porque nós erramos em alguns jogadores que nós trouxemos. Alguns, não deveria ter trazido. Agora trouxemos, está aí. É um erro. O futebol não perdoa a gente com erros”, afirmou o dirigente em entrevista ao jornal O Tempo em abril deste ano.
