Cristiano Ronaldo fica no Al-Nassr. Após semanas de especulações e um contexto de indefinição em torno do futuro, o craque de 40 anos resolveu bater o martelo acerca da sequência na carreira, e confirmou que seguirá no clube saudita por mais tempo. O vínculo vigente do camisa 7 é até 30 de junho, mas será prorrogado, frustrando assim que desejava vê-lo em ação na Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa.

Decisivo no título de Portugal frente à Espanha, neste domingo (08), pela Liga das Nações, o atacante respondeu os questionamentos da imprensa na saída do gramado em Munique. Bastante emocionado pelo título, CR7 foi direto ao garantir que vai continuar no clube do Oriente Médio. Há duas semanas, ele agitou a web após sinalizar uma possível despedida da equipe, em publicação com tom enigmático.

“Futuro? Não vai mudar nada. Al-Nassr, sim”, disse Cristiano Ronaldo de forma sucinta, após conquista do bicampeonato inédito da Liga das Nações. Recentemente, em coletiva, o clube saudita foi contundente ao apontar que não havia declinado das movimentações para renovar com o craque português, mesmo diante de um saída praticamente dada como certa.

Busca por título que ainda não veio

Com vínculo prestes a ser estendido de forma oficial com o Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo seguirá na caça do primeiro título saudita pelo clube. Desde que desembarcou no clube, em 2023, o craque lusitano só faturou a Copa dos Campeões Árabes, torneio com pouca relevância. Nesta temporada, o time foi o terceiro colocado, ficando a 13 pontos do campeão, Al-Ittihad.

Na caça pelos mil gols, CR7 fechou a temporada pelo Al-Nassr com impressionantes 35 gols e quatro assistências em 41 jogos realizados. Com o tento anotado na finalíssima da Liga das Nações, diante da Espanha, o atacante chegou aos 938 gols convertidos na carreira, e segue firme, aos 40 anos, na caça pelos quatro dígitos.

Em meio às especulações do futuro nos últimos dias, Cristiano Ronaldo foi personagem de destaque nas movimentações do mercado da bola. O jornal “Marca”, da Espanha, por exemplo, noticiou que um time brasileiro, que vai participar do Mundial deste ano, sondou a contratação do craque português. O nome da equipe interessada, no entanto, não foi divulgado. Oficialmente, nenhum clube manifestou interesse.

Além disso, CR7 chegou a ser cotado no Monterrey, do México, clube que também vai jogar o torneio da Fifa, e tem como um dos líderes o zagueiro Sergio Ramos, que dividiu vestiários com o craque português por muitos anos no Real Madrid.
