Pulkrab by u 11. týmu uplynulého ligového ročníku měl nahradit egyptského útočníka Muhammada Jásira, jenž po konci hostování oznámil konec v Teplicích. Otazník visí i nad Senegalcem Abdallahem Gningem. Nejlepší ligový střelec „Sklářů“ byl už v zimě blízko přestupu do polského Widzewu Lodž.

„Hledali jsme zkušeného útočníka, který svou pracovitostí a herním projevem dobře zapadne do týmu. Důležitý byl i charakter hráče, na který máme skvělé reference,“ uvedl sportovní ředitel Štěpán Vachoušek.

„Přicházím s velkým natěšením a očekáváním. Moc bych si přál, abychom tu zažili super sezonu,“ řekl Pulkrab.

Sparťanský odchovanec má na kontě 162 ligových zápasů a 43 gólů. Kromě letenského klubu a Mladé Boleslavi hrál nejvyšší soutěž i za Liberec a Bohemians 1905. V sezoně 2022/23 si vyzkoušel zahraniční angažmá v Sandhausenu ve druhé německé lize.
