Bastidores: saiba valores e como o Flamengo lida com assédio do Zenit para levar Gerson desde janeiro

No começo da última semana, Marcão, pai de Gerson, e agentes ligados ao Zenit, da Rússia, voltaram a carga junto ao Flamengo e tentaram formalizar uma nova proposta pelo meio-campo.

A oferta seria de 12,5 milhões de euros à vista mais duas parcelas em 2027 e 2028, reduzindo a multa rescisória do contrato do jogador, de 25 milhões de euros (R$ 158.7 milhões).

O Flamengo não quis nem ouvir. Descartou qualquer negociação e avisou que se o Zenit quisesse o atleta realmente deveria pagar o valor integral e à vista para Gerson ser liberado.

Em janeiro, os russos já haviam tentado levar o jogador. Na ocasião, a oferta foi de 18 milhões de euros fixos pagos em quatro anos, mais 6 milhões de euros em bonificações.

Entre elas, algumas ligadas a metas individuais na Rússia, outras em relação ao desempenho do Zenit em uma eventual volta à Liga dos Campeões e pelo avanço de fases até o eventual título.

Foi quando o Flamengo acelerou as conversas para renovar com Gerson. Desta vez, o Zenit indicou que vai pagar a multa à vista, mas ainda não houve uma proposta formal até a noite de domingo.

Study shows less online abuse of athletes during March Madness
