As contratações a serem feitas pelo Grêmio no mercado da bola estão ligando um sinal de alerta nos torcedores. Com a janela de meio do ano tendo início no dia 10 de julho, o Tricolor quer dar bons reforços para o técnico Mano Menezes, que ainda carece de peças de maior qualidade no elenco para aumentar o nível das atuações.

Na defesa estaria um dos grandes problemas: os dois zagueiros de mais qualidade são canhotos. Mesmo assim, Wagner Leonardo e Kannemann já atuaram juntos. Aos 25 anos, o atleta que foi revelado pelo São Paulo está atuando no Eintrach Frankfurt, da Alemanha. Por lá, ele tem contrato até o meio de 2026. Embora a alta cúpula tenha outros alvos, a torcida gremista está na bronca com a possibilidade dos reforços que chegarem à Arena não suprirem as necessidades do elenco.
Conforme informação do jornalista Diego Torbes, apenas o volante Alex Santana foi anunciado pelo Grêmio até o fim do período da janela de transferências da Copa do Mundo de Clubes, que se encerra neste dia 10 de junho. Agora, o Tricolor terá mais um mês para vasculhar o mercado, procurar opções e abrir negociações.

“Nós queremos trazer um zagueiro que jogue dos dois lados, com característica predominantemente destra. Para que fique mais equilibrado. A gente tem usado um sistema um pouquinho diferente para jogar. E isso deu a condição de fazer dessa maneira (com dois canhotos). Mas daqui a pouco vamos ter variações, e é bom que se tenha um jogador com essa característica. A gente vai trazer, sim”, disse o técnico.
